Dobnak strikes out 10 as Saints stop Louisville

Randy Dobnak tossed six shutout innings with 10 strikeouts as the St. Paul Saints beat the Louisville Bats 3-1 in an International League game in Louisville, Ky.

The victory was the fifth in a row for the Saints (32-35).

Dobnak became the first pitcher in Saints history to strike out 10 and throw 100 pitches in the same game.

Matt Wallner had a perfect night at the plate for the Saints, going 4 for 4, including a solo home run.

The teams close out their six-game series with an afternoon game today at Louisville Slugger Field.
