Upcoming Housing and Land Use-Related Events:

Monday, July 7, 5 to 8 p.m.: New York City Charter Revision Commission, which is considering changes to city government rules around housing and land use, will hold a public input hearing in Manhattan. More here.

Tuesday, July 8 at 9:30 a.m.: The Landmarks Preservation Commission will meet. More here.

Tuesday, July 8 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings and Dispositions will meet regarding landmark applications for the 993-995 Union Avenue ANCP Cluster in the Bronx and the Modulightor Building Apartment Duplex in Manhattan. More here.

Tuesday, July 8 at 11 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will meet regarding sidewalk cafe applications for Mykonian House and Ajo & Oregano Restaurant, and the following land use applications: 47 Hall Street Rezoning, 347 Flushing Avenue, 236 Gold Street Rezoning, and 42-11 30th Avenue Rezoning. Wednesday, July 9 at 6 p.m.: Manhattan Community Board 4 will hold a town hall with local elected representatives about NYCHA’s proposal to demolish and rebuild the Fulton Elliot-Chelsea Houses. More here.

Monday, July 14 at 10:30 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings and Dispositions will meet. More here.

Monday, July 14 at 10:45 a.m.:The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will meet. More here.

Monday, July 14 at 11 a.m.:The NYC Council’s Land Use Committee will meet. More here.

NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.

1229 Eastern Parkway Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $84,000 – $227,500 (last day to apply is 7/ 7)

Greenpoint Central Apartments – 65 Dupont Street, Brooklyn, for households earning between $68,949 – $227,500 (last day to apply is 7/ 7)

The Dome, Brooklyn, for households earning between $65,109 – $227,500 (last day to apply is 7/ 7)

Mitchell-Lama Essex Terrace Two Bedroom, Brooklyn, for households earning up to $129,600  (last day to apply is 7/14)

Mitchell-Lama Essex Terrace One Bedroom, Brooklyn, for households earning up to $116,640 (last day to apply is 7/14)
