Richard Davis
Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., announced that Richard K. Davis, former president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America and former executive chair and CEO of U.S. Bancorp, has been elected chair of the Mayo Clinic board of trustees. He succeeds Michael Powell, who joined the board in 2011 and was elected chair in 2021.
AIRPORTS
The Metropolitan Airports Commission announced it has promoted Joe Harris to the senior executive team as vice president of management and operations, effective Feb. 24. Harris had been the MAC’s director of reliever airports since July 2019. MAC owns and operates Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and six general aviation airports in the Twin Cities region.

Barr Engineering Co., Minneapolis, announced it a received the Grand Conceptor, People’s Choice, and Qualifications-Based Selection top-scoring project awards in the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards competition hosted by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota, for the I-35W underground stormwater storage facility solution to interstate flooding being built along I-35W in Minneapolis. Barr shared the award with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

First Tee — Minnesota, a St. Paul-based youth development organization focused on golf skills, announced that Kady Stoll was elected board chair, the first woman to hold the role, succeeding Jeremy Diebling. Stoll is vice president of global partnerships at 3M, Maplewood.

Bryan was chief financial officer of Insight Enterprises Inc., a global technology company, from 2007 through 2024. … Deluxe, a Minneapolis-based business services and technology company, announced the election of Morgan M. “Mac” Schuessler to its board of directors. Schuessler is chief executive officer and president of Evertec Group, a fintech company, and previously held leadership positions at American Express Corporate Services.

Moss & Barnett, Minneapolis, announced that Matthew P. Kostolnik and Bryant D. Tchida were elected to three-year terms as members of the firm’s board of directors, effective Jan. 1. Kostolnik is chair of the firm’s litigation practice group and serves as the firm’s general counsel; Tchida is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. … Attorney Jacob D. Levine has been chosen by the Twin Cities Cardozo Society to receive the 2025 Arthur T. Pfefer Memorial Award, presented to a Jewish law student or attorney under the age of 35. Levine is a senior associate at Fredrikson, Minneapolis, which announced the award.

Nuwellis, an Eden Prairie-based developer and provider of bodily fluid management systems, announced that Nestor Jaramillo, Jr. retired as president, chief executive officer and as a director of the company, effective Feb. 18. John Erb, who currently serves as chairman of board, assumed the role of interim president and CEO. … DiaMedica Therapeutics, a Minnetonka-based biopharmaceutical company focused on acute ischemic stroke and preeclampsia, announced the election of Daniel J. O’Connor to its board of directors, effective Feb. 20. O’Connor most recently served as president, CEO and director of Ambrx, a biotechnology company.

Tamarack Technology, a St. Paul-based provider of artificial intelligence-based software and services for the equipment finance industry, announced the promotion of Jeremy Fisher to director of data engineering. Fisher joined the company in 2022 as a senior data engineer.
