Past and present Vulcans with the help of volunteers gathered at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Saturday to create 8-feet-tall cubes of snow for artists to carve into snow sculptures as a part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival’s Vulcan Snow Park.

Among the attendees was this year’s Klondike Kate Ame’ Jo Peach, volunteers from the Midway Men’s Club and 2024 Klondike Kate Jody Vander Hart.
