After waiting patiently through the opening 90 minutes of free agency, the Vikings finally made their first move.
A source confirmed to the Pioneer Press that the Vikings agreed to terms with cornerback Isaiah Rodgers. It’s a 2-year, $15 million for Rodgers, who was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and recently won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Though his 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame doesn’t exactly fit the mold for defensive coordinator Brian Flores, Rodgers fills a position of need, and will likely play a key role for the Vikings next season.
